Rules for Use of the Town of Geneva’s Box Turf Field
(in addition to rules posted at the field):
- The facility is closed from December 1st - March 31st or when the temperature is below 40 degrees.
- The facility is unsupervised by the Town of Geneva; use in any form is at one’s own risk.
- All groups looking to reserve the facility must provide proof of insurance to the Town Clerk at least one week prior to scheduled use. The proof of insurance must cover all individuals who will be present at the time of use.
- All for-profit organizations or persons must pay a rental fee of $25.00 per hour to the Town of Geneva. This must be paid when proof of insurance is provided.
- Use of the facility cannot be booked any further than two months in advance.
- In the event of a conflict over use of the facility, preference is given to not-for-profit organizations.
- Organizations located in the Town and City of Geneva are given preference over organizations from other municipalities.
- Review the area after use to clean up and remove any trash.
- Violations of these rules may lead to banning violators from the facility. Compensation will be sought from anyone damaging the facility due to violating facility rules or misuse or negligence.
