Last Saturday for Construction Debris and Large Item Discard Is Saturday, October 27
The Town of Geneva will remove the scale and large item container at its Recycling and Disposal Station after Saturday, October 27 until next Spring. On Saturdays since July town residents have been able to bring construction debris and large items like furniture to the Town’s station where it is weighed and placed in a container for a Shortsville-based recycler at a cost of 10 cents per pound. The program has been a success and will restart in the Spring of 2019.
This and like programs are part of the Town’s efforts to help residents prepare for the closing of the county landfill and foster sustainable living.
