While
the Supervisor is in her office daily, if you want to meet with her
it would be to your benefit to call ahead to ensure that she

OTHER ITEMS OF INTEREST TO RESIDENTS:
Town of Geneva Water Supply - Kashong wells - During the past
month, our new well began operation providing 1800 gallons of water
per minute. We now have 3 wells that can be operational.
High Lift Pumps - 2 new 125 horsepower 6-inch pumps were
recently installed. Each pump is capable of providing 900 gallons
per minute.
These wells and pumps improve our water supply. As a result, our
system is updated and can supply water for increased usage.
Emergency Planning Committee - This committee under the
chairmanship of Bill McAdoo, Code Enforcement Officer, continues to
meet on a regular basis.
Members of this committee continue to discuss situations that could
occur in an emergency. A great deal of discussion revolved around
specifications for a generator for Town Hall. The committee invited
representative of Norfolk Southern and Finger Lakes railroads to
attend a March meeting to discuss hazardous spills.
Trash Tickets and Recycling Stickers: Trash permits are $75.
Recycling stickers need to be renewed yearly by January 1st; they
cost $10 for the first vehicle and $2 for the second. Brush and leaf
permits are free and are also available at the Town Hall. You can
obtain these at the Town Hall, 3750 County Road 6, Monday - Friday,
8:00 am - 4:00 pm (including “lunch time”).
If for some reason you cannot come to the Town Hall during these
hours, there are forms for you to fill out at the Transfer Station.
Fill out the information on the form and make checks payable to The
Town of Geneva. These can be put into the drop box in front of the
Town Hall. We will then mail you your permits and stickers. We hope
this will be more convenient for you. |
